Like many others I have often asked myself the question of everything that we throw in the trash every day despite our good intentions.
There are artists who brought this at an upper level with a whole work entirely made of recycled materials. Or the material itself become an artwork.....
Me, I just wanted to get back the white or colored back of a lot of cardboard boxes that are part of my daily life because they're thick and the quality is there too.
This is the case for artwork "Les boucles" (original title in french "The circles") that I just published in my sketch gallery

All emotions have the right to exist. It is normal that emotion will always be present in us without asking permission.
To recognize them and to accept them without necessarily let them driving our lives it means to evolve internally and therefore to provoke a change on the outside.
Everything happens all the time.

An artwork is for me a journey in consciousness.
If the work is spread over several days there are ups and downs with higher or lower consciousness (I do not put any judgment on it). It is a fact that when I am at the lowest and even if the recovery is slow sometimes the fact of getting to work brings peace and highness on consciousness.
Sketching allows the same thing on a shorter time because I spend less time on it. It's a shorter story where I do steps of my journey that are also important and this helps to root me daily ....

Stay in the present moment with all these ideas in the head
The idea of sketching was born for several reasons
# 1

For example using an idea for a larger painting. Certainly It's not new. It may be that some idea disappear forever or they come back later but when an image strikes me the urge is strong to put it down.
But in our daily life where things are really often hectic I like to do this as an act of rebellion despite the short time available. I want to leave myself the choice of what to do even later (like working eventually on a larger project)

The difficult thing for me sometimes is to go beyond what has been, especially if I made a negative judgment and I'considering it as an error.Some things I can throw them away, others transform themselves. In the present moment and according to my degree of acceptance I would say that I can switch to destruction or reconstruction according to a judgment. Eckhart Tolle says that the present moment is as it is. What makes me think to a bunch possibilities. Not always easy to accept when I'm working on something.

Between the everyday endless to do list and the MIND that always trying to take over it could be months before the first "official" article is out. So I just decide to start now ;-)
