One of the aspects that I find myself working on more than before, even discover is the relationship with time.

Time no longer has the same meaning. The days seem to get longer and at times they are even more filled but not for the same reasons.

Before the challenge was to do a maximum of things for a maximum of objectives. Now it’s schooling my daughter and taking the time (if possible without losing my temper)

Before it was "the next thing to do". Now it's about keeping your focus, what is really important for us.

Before it was the next task, now it's observing. Also to avoid panicking. 

Before it was "tomorrow I go to the grocery shop". Now is: "it's better to go there on this day at this time because ....".
It has also become: I go there and I will deal with it (empty shelves , queuing , etc.).

Before it was "I have to finish this painting". Now is: it will happen when it's time. But I work on it all the time and I know it.

Tulips 2012, Tulips 2020

The artist that I am right now: I'm adapting.
Because everyday life changes. I have a temporary job in a food store and three children at home. I adapt because I feel these movements of energy and I try to stay centered, not to be overwhelmed by fear, worry or panic.
I adapt because no, I have not yet had the time to lock myself up for several hours in my studio and keep going on one of the many paintings that have been going on for a while.
I adapt because at this moment when the world seems to hold its breath it's important to slow down and look at the sun and the earth, to the animals around us who are happy that we are present more than before.
I adapt because the world had to change, and this is perhaps the first wave.
I adapt because an artist cannot really force or pretend anything.
The images will arrive, and the time to make them will be different.
I adapt because my path is always there and yours is too

We can't ignore what is happening in this moment (coronavirus syndrome with all its "consequences" .... and just starting).

I have a double vision of it : with my original Italian identity and the acquired French because I've been living here for almost fifteen years now.

I pass over the actual stressful stage, emptied supermarkets, the too much info, the wrong info, people who panic and people that don't  care, etc etc etc

Several thoughts I had.
To start with : recycling for me also means transmuting, transformation not just in the material well know (!) touchable world.

We transform materials of course but it is also true for actions and thoughts... and more.

In a moment like this when all of humanity in one way or another is faced with something quite "new" they are asked to transform.

By who ? We ourselves ask this and the universe....knowing that it's actually the same.

For few it is a work that has already started, others they d'ont know it yet and then there are those who will resist. 

For few the intuition of new horizons is already present in our reality: new ways of relating to others, new ways to work, new habits,  new fears, facing fears for the first time.

Invent, transform, look at the opportunity that presents itself.

I live it as a moment when it's good to know our self a bit and know where we want to go while knowing that we will follow a larger movement of which we are part anyway.

The key word was already for me transform / transmute.
Now it's happening as well on more invisibles planes and for large part of population, so that means something even more of course.
And it may be just the the first time.

I introduce you "Woman Ocean" which is part of the book / cards project "Women who live in the mother" .
Each image in this project represents a part or an aspect of the woman's journey through pregnancy, childbirth and the mother's journey.

The Ocean woman also confronts me with the depths. The whole part that we call unconscious and that in general we know very little. It also reminds me of a vast world. Often the subconscious is the huge iceberg submerged by water, of which we only see the final tip.
It reminds me that it deserves to be discovered and explored and that it can be a rich source of wealth.

I introduce you "Woman of the lake" which is part of the book / cards project "Women who live in the mother" .
Each image in this project represents a part or an aspect of the woman's journey through pregnancy, childbirth and the mother's journey.
The woman of the lake confronts me to the depths, these aspects often hidden or overlooked. Often we pass judgment and that is also why we find it difficult to see them and even more to accept them. And yet they are there and they are part of us.
Even they are the ones that most often guide us, or to put it better, lead us if we persist in not seeing them.
It's a lifetime's work to know them, to see our dark side. Dark, I insist, it doesn't mean bad.
What happens in the depths changes the transparency of the water in our lake. Accepting does not mean that there is nothing we can do, on the contrary it opens the doors to the transformation that is my watchword.
So, I invite you to watch them and not to be afraid.

Let me introduce you here the "Woman tree", part of the book / card project : "Women who live in the mother".

Each image of this project represents a part of the woman's journey when she goes through pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

Even so, I'm realizing that every image carries an even bigger story.

I spent quite few days thinking around to figure out how to present the "Woman Tree" and since nothing is chance I imagine that the intuition or the right idea, call it as you wish, came in when I was ready to welcome it.

The woman tree represents the continuity between sky and earth, light and shadow once again but in a vertical way. Spirit and density, future and present.

It represents the meeting of the polarities that are present in each of us, sometimes in a very harsh way.Consciousness helps tame polarities since they are always present in our human form whether we like it or not.

Love and hate, light and shadow, good and evil and lot more.

It is important for me to say that talking about polarity does not imply any judgment on any of them.With very few rare exceptions everything that leads us to judge in one sense or another (beautiful / ugly, good / bad etc.) as far as I am concerned is folklore.

I'm not saying that I am immune from it, I'm not, but it's good to be aware of it.

I believe that part of each of us is to find our center, the point of balance. It's a lifetime's work in my opinion because nothing is fixed and everything moves. 

It may be that there are certain similarities, but each of us is alone in his own mission.There is nothing wrong with that except to mourn the folklore itself, so to speak.

Many people cross this life absolutely unaware and unconscious of all this.The "Woman tree" for me represents the going through of this flow which is life. 

Through roots in the ground and then back to the spirit, to the whole, to the universe.This is a lesson that we find again and again here.

For a long time now I've been working on this cards project with an Italian writer Nicoletta Banzi who has written stories dedicated to the mother's journey during pregnancy, childbirth and after birth.
These are inspirational and through the female archetypes can support and inspire on this path and the entire existence.
I had the honor of creating the images for this project.
The cards are already available in Italian and will be translated into English and French (for the moment on request)

In each woman there are goddesses who will accompany her, they wake up in particular moments of her life while in other moments they rest quietly.
The hormonal changes and emotional immersion that a woman experiences during pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperal phase will animate ancient and powerful creatures in her.

De fil en aiguille va le recyclage. 

Dans ma tête ça fuse dans tous les sens, plusieurs points se relient. Cette fois l'occasion c’était le tri dans la chambre de ma fille la plus petite (8 ans, c'est elle qui décide son trie, par contre c'est moi qui lance la balle quand je vois que ça déborde, bref...)

Je la vois vider entre autre une bonne boite de rangement remplie de Barbies etc.

"T'es sure?" je demande

"Oui, oui"

"Sure sure???"

Ma pensée va à : 1) combien de temps j'ai mis,  il y a peut-être 2/3 ans, pour trouver telle bagnole de Barbie, 2) combien ma mère a dépensé, 3) mon père artiste lui aussi qui récupère entre autre des morceau ou des parties de poupées/Barbies.....

Rangement/trie/recyclage. Très classique : on emmène chez ma copine Isa que depuis des années récupère et dispatche à différents associations, chez les gitans, et je ne sais pas où encore.

Nous sommes cinq avec trois enfants qui grandissent, nous sommes relativement critiques mais pas immunisée complètement à la société de consommation, désolée! 

Alors on donne, c'est un premier pas. Oh combien des fois je vois des jouets pourrir (et vêtements, et autres encores) à coté des poubelles dans les alentours ? 

Comme quoi il y a toujours quelque chose à apprendre et à faire.Ranger, trier recycler c'est aussi dans sa tête. Une fois je ne sais plus où j'avais lu que la façon que nous avons de ranger/stocker c'est le reflet de ce que nous avons dans la tête. 

Je pense que c'est vrai au moins en partie, en tout cas moi ça correspond (et ma fille aussi ! ).

Je cumule, je range un peu, je fais plein de projets. 

En suite le temps, mon évolution, la vie, l'age.... font aussi leur travail.

Alors les projets se trient, certains pensées aussi, mon experience et mes vibrations augmentent. 

La vague de la vie fait que un tel projet n'a plus de sens pour moi ou pas suffisamment. 

Les priorités changent. Telle pile de materiel , tel livre peut-être, tel jouet vont mieux servir à d'autres.

Allez-hop on trie, on donne, on recycle éventuellement.

On fait du vide pour autre chose. On crée de l’espace. Et on fait de l'art of course.

I started to produce artworks available for a price offer, for the moment they're small format. Two were sold.
It's very interesting for me to understand what's going on in you when you have to come up with a price. Someone told me about the fear of offending me by proposing a price that does not correspond to that expected. But why this fear?
On the one hand I can understand it. But what interests me, among many reasons for this project, is about what the person who connects with an art piece that she looks at is really afraid of. Is it something related to the artist who did the work or is it a judgment on oneself ? Can you feel dishonest maybe? Or not smart enough to give a price?
Or something else?
Of course we live in a world that does not work that way.
What interests me is that the person who approaches an art piece, any person, ask herself the question and takes his own power in the process.
This is what art collectors and art buyers do. And I want that to be possible for a larger number of people.
I do not know yet where this project will lead but for the moment I am quite curious of what will follow.

For a while I had this idea to propose paintings (small format for the moment) and give to the people the opportunity to offer a price for it.
It is not about selling off my work but more to opening to the people for whom a connection exists the possibility of daring, to make a step forward this connection, forward to the desire, according to his own possibilities as well. In the same time we are talking reality and fears. .
This opens the possibility of acquiring an original artwork of course. Because art for me it must be accessible to all those who live the connection with it.
It may not be so easy to think in this way and I would like people to question the reasons. For me a whole world is opening, bound of course to my reality, my beliefs, my fears.

It's quite possible therefore that on the other side will be the case too.
And it's possible to transform all that.
